Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Videographer \& Editor to handle video production from filming through final delivery.

The role is responsible for capturing high-quality video content, operating cameras and production equipment, organizing and managing footage, and editing videos according to the project's creative direction and client requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both production and post-production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Operate professional cameras and video equipment for various productions.
• Film corporate videos, commercials, social media content, events, interviews, documentaries, and other creative projects.
• Set up and operate cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, and other filming equipment.
• Ensure proper framing, composition, exposure, focus, and camera movement.
• Work with the Director, Producer, DOP, and production team to achieve the required visual style.
• Assist with lighting and basic audio setup when required.
• Adapt filming techniques according to different locations, subjects, and project requirements.
• Ensure all footage meets the required technical and creative standards.

Post-Production \& Editing

• Review, organize, and manage recorded footage.
• Edit video content according to the approved brief, storyboard, script, and creative direction.
• Perform video cutting, sequencing, transitions, pacing, and storytelling.
• Perform basic color correction and color grading.
• Edit and synchronize audio, music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
• Add titles, subtitles, graphics, and other visual elements when required.
• Prepare videos in different formats and aspect ratios for social media and digital platforms.
• Export final videos according to client and platform specifications.
• Manage project files, footage, editing files, and backups in an organized manner.
• Make revisions based on client or management feedback.

Creative \& Production Support

• Participate in pre-production discussions and provide creative input when required.
• Assist in developing visual concepts and filming approaches.
• Help determine suitable camera equipment, lenses, accessories, and shooting requirements for each project.
• Maintain and properly handle company production equipment.
• Ensure footage is safely backed up and properly organized after each shoot.
• Work within project deadlines and production schedules.
• Maintain professional standards when working at client locations and production sites.
• Perform other production and editing tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, or Videographer \& Editor.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating professional video work and editing skills.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Good knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and video production equipment.
• Good understanding of cinematography, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions, frame rates, and export requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-location shoots when required.
• Previous experience in commercial, corporate, advertising, film, events, or social media production is an advantage.

Working Environment

The position involves a combination of office-based editing, studio work, and on-location filming. The Videographer \& Editor may be required to travel to different filming locations and work flexible hours depending on production schedules.
