2026-05-19 11:59 PM Radio-Canada is seeking a dynamic Video Producer to drive the development and production of digital-first video content for our Atlantic regions (Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador). In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of News and Programming (N.S./P.E.I./N.L.) and the station’s Digital Producer.
You are a highly creative storyteller with a proven track record in videography and video editing. You are well versed in the various camera systems used at CBC/Radio-Canada and possess a deep understanding of digital trends — specifically vertical video creation and online video best practices. Beyond your technical skills, you are passionate about current affairs and Atlantic Canadian news. You are someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment but is always looking for ways to break the mould and engage audiences differently.
Functions:
Conceive, research, develop and produce visual story items, including shooting and editing both video and still images. Your work will adhere to CBC journalistic and/or program policies, standards and practices but there is latitude for creativity, initiative and independent judgment. Occasionally, there may be a requirement to co-ordinate the work of others.
