Join Our Team as a Veterinary Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our veterinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting veterinarians, providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of animals throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and recovery.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Prepare animals and equipment for diagnostic and surgical procedures.
- Collect and process laboratory samples for testing.
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, medication administration, and post-treatment instructions.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards are maintained throughout the facility.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies and equipment.
- Support emergency and critical care cases when required.
Qualifications \& Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Technology, Animal Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
- Knowledge of veterinary nursing practices, patient care, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Experience handling small animals; experience with large animals is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate approach to animal care and client service.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in surgical nursing and anesthesia monitoring.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of animal welfare regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary veterinary team.
