Veterinarian

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our new veterinary practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality wellness, diagnostic, surgical, and urgent care and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess health status
• Diagnose illnesses and injuries through clinical assessments, laboratory tests, and imaging procedures
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual animals’ needs
• Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other soft tissue surgeries
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed
• Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and health management strategies
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Assist in laboratory testing procedures when necessary to aid in diagnosis
• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment
• Laboratory experience is preferred, with the ability to perform diagnostic tests efficiently
• Strong communication skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration
• Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $110,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
