Vehicle Inspector

We are a fast-growing mobile pre-purchase vehicle inspection (PPI) company looking for an experienced Vehicle Inspector / Mechanic to join our team. You will travel to customer locations across Dubai and the wider UAE to carry out detailed pre-purchase inspections on used vehicles, helping buyers make informed decisions before they commit.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You’ll inspect everything from daily drivers to luxury, performance, and electric vehicles, so we’re looking for someone with broad mechanical knowledge and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive pre-purchase inspections: mechanical, electrical, body, paint, undercarriage, and road test
• Use diagnostic scanners (OBD full-system scans) and paint thickness gauges, and interpret results accurately
• Identify signs of accident repair, repainting, flood damage, and odometer tampering
• Complete detailed digital inspection reports with photos, clearly and honestly
• Communicate findings professionally with customers on site
• Drive to inspection locations across Dubai and other emirates in a company-provided setup
• Maintain inspection equipment and follow company SOPs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic or technician (dealership, workshop, or inspection background preferred)
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and vehicle electronics
• Experience with diagnostic scan tools; ability to read and explain fault codes
• Ability to detect accident damage and paint work confidently
• Valid UAE driving license (required)
• Good spoken English; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu a plus
• Presentable, punctual, and comfortable dealing directly with customers
• Knowledge of EVs (Tesla, BYD) is an advantage
