Vehicle Delivery/Collections/Recovery Driver

Due to further growth of the company we now require additional professional, experienced and conscientious Vehicle Delivery Drivers.

Job Location: Basildon/Brentwood

Position: Vehicle Delivery/Collections/Recovery Driver

Vehicle Delivery/Collections/Recovery Driver, 3.5 \& 7.5 tonne/Tilt and Slide Bed. C1 Licence. Candidates who have passed their licence before 1997 i.e Grandfather right candidates may also apply for this position.

As a vehicle delivery driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of the companies hire vehicles as well as customers vehicles which have been repaired, or are due to be repaired following a accident.

• Applicants must have the following: CPC Licence \& Digital Tacho Card.
• You must have gained relevant experience ideally working within vehicle recovery vehicle collections/delivery or similar role.
• As this is a customer facing position you will need to be of smart appearance (uniform supplied) a good communicator and focused on providing excellent customer experience.
• Flexible and willing to undertake other tasks i.e cleaning of vehicles, assisting colleagues with associated yard duties when not delivering vehicles.
• Job Requirements
• You will need to be able to handle the physical aspect of loading vehicles on and off a transporter and comfortable of working in an active role.
• Working hours are flexible based on 45 hour over 5 days, 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Sunday as agreed with your line manager. You may also be required to work additional hours as and when required to meet the needs of the business. If you work over your contracted hours, Saturdays/Weekends/Bank Holidays, these days are paid at the higher hourly rate of pay.
