Van Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Van Driver to join our SRR building materials trading llc company in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering building materials, documents, and other company goods to customers and project sites across Dubai and the UAE, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely drive company vans to deliver building materials and other products to customers and project sites.

- Load and unload materials safely and ensure products are delivered without damage.

- Verify delivery quantities, invoices, delivery notes, and customer details before and after deliveries.

- Collect signed delivery notes and other required documents from customers.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials according to the daily delivery schedule.

- Assist the warehouse team with loading and arranging materials when required.

- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the company vehicle.

- Perform basic daily vehicle checks, including fuel, tyres, oil, lights, and general condition.

- Follow UAE traffic rules and company safety procedures at all times.

- Report vehicle issues, accidents, delays, or delivery problems to the supervisor immediately.

- Communicate professionally with customers and assist with customer queries related to deliveries.

- Handle cash or payment collections from customers when assigned.

- Maintain accurate delivery records and submit required documents to the office.

- Support other logistics and warehouse-related duties when required.

Requirements

- Valid UAE Driving License – Category 3 / Light Vehicle License.

- Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, or Light Vehicle Driver in the UAE is preferred.

- Experience in building materials, hardware, construction materials, or trading companies is an advantage.

- Good knowledge of Dubai roads and locations.

- Ability to use Google Maps/navigation applications.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Physically fit and able to load/unload materials when required.

- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery schedules.

- Familiarity with delivery notes, invoices, and basic documentation is an advantage.
