UI/UX Designer

Role Purpose:

To design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging digital experiences across web and mobile applications by translating user and business requirements into effective UI/UX solutions.

Responsibilities:

User Experience Design

• Conduct user research and analyze user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve usability and overall user satisfaction.

User Interface Design

• Design modern, responsive, and visually consistent interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Apply design principles, typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy effectively.
• Maintain consistency with established design systems and brand guidelines.

Prototyping \& Design Systems

• Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate user journeys and product functionality.
• Create and maintain reusable UI components and design systems.
• Ensure consistency across platforms, devices, and applications.
• Continuously improve design standards and reusable design assets.

Usability \& Accessibility

• Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into designs.
• Identify and address usability and accessibility issues.
• Design experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and responsive across devices.
• Ensure designs support a consistent and seamless user experience.

Collaboration \& Design Delivery

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Provide design specifications, assets, and guidance to developers.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor user feedback, analytics, and product performance to identify improvements.
• Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Recommend innovative design approaches to improve product usability and engagement.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification:

Necessary Knowledge and Experience to be able to do the Job

4–6 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.

Strong experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.

Proven experience designing responsive and user-centered digital products.

Experience working with design systems and reusable UI components.

Experience collaborating with product, development, QA, and business teams.

Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, responsive design, and user-centered design principles.

Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant UI/UX or design certifications are an advantage.

Job Specific Technical Skills

Proficiency in Figma and/or similar UI/UX design tools.

User research and usability testing.

Wireframing and interactive prototyping.

UI design and visual design principles.

Responsive and mobile-first design.

Design systems and component libraries.

Information architecture and user flows.

Accessibility and usability standards.

Design handoff and collaboration with developers.

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts.

Knowledge of web and mobile design patterns and cross-platform user experience.
