UI UX Designer

Role Overview

Somion Digital is seeking a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, aesthetically compelling, and highly functional digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end design process—transforming complex user needs and business objectives into seamless user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished final user interfaces that engage and convert users.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, user interviews, and usability testing to gather actionable insights and inform design decisions.
• Create user personas, customer journey maps, information architecture, site maps, and task flows.
• Develop low-to-high fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI designs for responsive web applications and mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Establish, maintain, and scale design systems, component libraries, style guides, and interaction patterns across digital products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and front-end developers to ensure design feasibility, precise asset handoff, and quality control during execution.
• Iterate continuously on design solutions based on user feedback, quantitative analytics, and operational usability testing.

Requirements \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience working on web, mobile, or enterprise SaaS applications.
• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Framer).
• Strong, verifiable portfolio showcasing user-centered design methodologies, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and finished UI design assets.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), mobile design guidelines (Material Design / iOS Human Interface Guidelines), and basic front-end technical constraints (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Exceptional visual aesthetics, attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
