About the Role
We are looking for a highly talented Product Designer / UX Architect to take ownership of the UX, interaction design, and visual design of our SaaS application.
This is more than a UI design role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about how the product works, how users navigate it, and how the overall experience feels—and then translate that thinking into elegant, intuitive, and polished interfaces.
The ideal candidate combines strong UX architecture, interaction design, UI/visual design, and prototyping skills, with a proven track record of designing and shipping real-world digital products.
A key part of our product is a portal designed specifically for children. Experience designing engaging digital experiences for children is highly desirable. Experience with gamification, game UI, 2D/2.5D/3D design, animation, or motion design would be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end UX and UI design process, from research and product discovery through to final implementation.
- Define information architecture, navigation structures, user journeys, and interaction patterns.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design polished, responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Conduct competitive and user experience analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system and UI style guide.
- Design meaningful interactions, animations, and micro-interactions where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Review implemented features and provide design feedback to maintain quality and consistency.
- Continuously improve the product experience based on user feedback, product requirements, and emerging design best practices.
- Help shape an engaging, intuitive, and gamified experience for our children's portal.
Required Qualifications \& Experience:
- Proven professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, UX Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world digital products, particularly SaaS platforms or complex web applications.
- Strong understanding of UX architecture, information architecture, interaction design, and user-centred design principles.
- Strong UI and visual design skills with a keen eye for hierarchy, typography, spacing, and consistency.
- Proficiency in Figma or equivalent professional design and prototyping tools.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.
- Experience designing responsive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences.
- Strong understanding of developer handoff, including design specifications, component behaviour, responsive states, and interaction details.
- Proven ability to work closely with frontend developers throughout the design and implementation process.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly communicate design decisions and work effectively with product and engineering teams.
- Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints when developing design solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
The following experience would be highly valued:
- Experience designing SaaS products and enterprise-level digital platforms.
- Experience designing AI-powered interfaces, AI-assisted workflows, conversational interfaces, or intelligent product experiences.
- Experience working with complex data-driven interfaces, dashboards, workflows, and multi-role platforms.
- Experience collaborating closely with frontend developers to ensure high-fidelity implementation of designs.
- Experience with advanced design systems and component-driven product design.
- Experience with gamification, game UI/UX, or engagement-focused digital experiences.
- Experience designing products or digital experiences for children.
- Experience with 2D, 2.5D, or 3D design, motion design, animation, or interactive experiences.
- Illustration, character design, or visual storytelling experience.
- Experience in education, learning technology, or children's digital products.
Your Portfolio Matters
We are particularly interested in how you think, not just how your final screens look.
Please provide a portfolio showcasing real products you have worked on. Where possible, include case studies that explain:
- The problem you were solving.
- Your role and responsibilities in the project.
- Your UX and design process.
- How you arrived at the final solution.
- How you collaborated with product and engineering teams.
- What was ultimately implemented and shipped.
We want to see the thinking behind the design—not just the finished screens.
