Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions across various subjects, tailoring instruction to each student’s unique learning style and needs
• Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual learning objectives
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement through ongoing evaluations and feedback
• Use effective communication skills to clearly explain concepts, answer questions, and encourage active participation
• Incorporate special education strategies when working with students who have learning differences or disabilities
• Track student progress regularly, adjusting teaching approaches as necessary to ensure continuous growth
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment that builds confidence and promotes a love for learning

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse student populations
• Knowledge of educational best practices, including techniques for special education support
• Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles
• Passion for education and helping students succeed academically and personally

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
