Trusts & Foundations Manager

About the Role

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is looking to recruit a trusts \& foundations manager to join us for 30 hours per week, worked as 4 days across Monday - Friday. The role is hospice-based, with the opportunity for some home working. Please specify your preferred EACH hospice work-base location (Milton, Norwich or Ipswich) when applying.

At EACH, we support children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and their families. We are seeking an experienced trusts and foundations manager to lead the delivery of our trusts and foundations fundraising programme, securing income from charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations to support hospice services, projects and developments.

This role is responsible for achieving agreed income targets, developing a sustainable funding pipeline worth up to £2M, and ensuring funding opportunities align with the needs of EACH's services and the priorities of funders. The postholder will manage a portfolio of existing and prospective funders, oversee the development of funding applications, proposals and impact reports, and lead the identification, cultivation, stewardship and renewal of funding opportunities.

As part of this role, you will line manage, coach and support the senior trusts and foundations fundraiser, working collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, care and finance to develop funding opportunities, monitor performance and contribute to the delivery of the wider fundraising strategy.

You will:

• Lead the delivery of EACH's trusts and foundations fundraising strategy.
• Develop and manage a sustainable pipeline of funding opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations.
• Prepare high-quality funding applications, proposals and impact reports.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop projects, funding packages and capital appeal opportunities.
• Monitor performance against income targets and contribute to reporting for senior leadership and trustees.
• Ensure accurate CRM management and compliance with fundraising and data protection requirements.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Experience of trusts and grant fundraising, including developing funding opportunities and supporter relationships.
• Experience of securing income against financial targets.
• Experience of preparing funding applications, reports and proposals.
• The ability to interpret information and data to create evidence-based applications and cases for support.
• Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience of managing priorities and delivering work to deadlines.
• Experience of supporting, developing or managing others.
• Effective written, verbal and presentation skills. It is essential that you have a current, full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle to enable travel as part of the role.### About Us
