About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Trucking \& Billing Executive to manage our logistics and trucking operations. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for coordinating shipments, managing transport agents, and ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time with accurate documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Arrange truck bookings, coordinate with transport agents, drivers, and operations teams to ensure smooth pickup and delivery.
- Act as the primary liaison for customers, providing real-time shipment status updates and managing daily booking requests.
- Maintain and update the system daily and manage consolidation shipments for key accounts.
- Prepare accurate invoices, verify them against Proofs of Delivery (POD), and ensure timely submission to customers.
- Handle charter truck requests, check vehicle availability, and manage the upload of invoices and PODs to shared drives.
- Assist with monthly billing tasks and support air freight documentation (AWBs) as needed.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a recognized Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in billing, logistics, trucking coordination, or freight forwarding.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin for liaising with customers, drivers, and internal teams. Mandarin is required as this position needs to handle customers from China.
- Hands on with the MS Office Suite.
- High level of accuracy in billing, data entry, and document verification.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations, warehouse teams and customers to meet deadlines.
- Able to commence work immediately is an added advantage.
