Traveling Combo Welder

Black River is looking for experienced Traveling Combo Welders to join our team for industrial and process-piping projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a 6G pipe welding test
• Strong experience welding 6010 and 7018
• Must be capable of producing X-ray-quality welds
• Must be able to read and understand piping isometrics
• Familiar with ASME B31.3 process piping requirements
• Must be able to follow welding procedures, project specifications, and QC requirements
• TIG experience is a plus
• Stainless steel welding experience is a plus
• Must be willing and able to travel throughout the Northeast
• Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently on industrial projects

Compensation \& Travel

• Pay Range: $32-40 an hour.
• 40-60 hours per week
• $125 per day per diem
• Mileage paid for mobilization and demobilization
• Traveling work throughout the Northeast
• Opportunities for ongoing industrial, process-piping, and plant work

What We're Looking For

We're looking for welders who can show up to a jobsite, read the isometric, understand the welding requirements, and produce quality welds that meet B31.3 and project specifications.
