Are you fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia? We are a manufacturing company based in Nilai looking for a reliable, language-savvy individual to act as a crucial communication bridge between our Chinese management team and local staff.

No prior translation experience? No problem! Fresh graduates with strong trilingual skills and a fast learning mindset are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Translation: Translate HR documents, company policies, notices, and operational materials between Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (and English where needed).
• Interpretation: Provide real-time oral translation during internal meetings, training sessions, and daily workplace discussions.
• Communication Support: Assist the HR Manager in drafting clear, bilingual staff announcements and internal notices.
• Glossary Management: Build and maintain an internal terminology list to standardize workplace vocabulary over time.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic office tools (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Attributes: High attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Languages, Translation, Communications, or relevant fields is preferred, but equivalent language capability is accepted.
• Location: Must be able to report to work on-site in Nilai.
