About the role:

Qatar Airways Group is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Transformation Manager, a hands-on role that will contribute to shaping and delivering the next phase of the Group’s Strategy \& Transformation journey. Several positions are open across the Group’s strategic pillars, including key areas like Customer Experience, Operations, Digital \& AI.

Reporting to a Transformation Business Partner, this role will support the discovery, shaping and delivery of transformation initiatives within the assigned business units and departments, ensuring alignment with the pillar roadmap and the organization’s future vision. The role will help identify and assess improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience and sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will work hand in hand with business stakeholders to co-create change initiatives and translate agreed priorities into well-structured, executable project plans. Working closely with Partner Synergies, EPMO, Process Excellence, Enterprise Data \& Analytics (EDA) and the Business Finance teams, the role will apply disciplined transformative methodologies, support data-driven decision making, and contribute to measurable, verified benefits.

A key expectation of this position will be strong project management, working hand in hand with departmental PMO teams, complemented by change management practices that drive adoption, embed new ways of working and ensure improvements are owned and sustained by the business. The role will also apply Process Excellence and innovation capabilities, such as lean six sigma, process mining and Digital \& AI solutions, in collaboration with Information Technology and the different business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to delivering the transformation roadmap for the assigned divisions and departments, under the direction of the Transformation Business Partner
• Conduct ‘As-Is’ analysis to identify gaps and opportunities, and support the development of ‘To-Be’ blueprints and business cases
• Co-create transformation initiatives with business stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional workshops to align problem definition, scope and solutions
• Plan and manage assigned transformation projects end-to-end, including scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, risks and issues
• Monitor implementation progress with the EPMO, prepare status reporting and support issue resolution, escalating material risks to the Transformation Business Partner
• Track KPIs and benefits with Business Finance and EDA, promoting data analytics adoption to support informed decision making
• Apply change management practices, including stakeholder analysis, communication, training and adoption tracking, to ensure new ways of working are embraced
• Support business stakeholders in the transition from project mode to business-as-usual by embedding improved processes into SOPs with clear operational ownership
• Apply the Group transformation playbook and standards
• Operate within clear boundaries: Strategy sets direction, Transformation orchestrates delivery and value assurance, and business leaders remain accountable for outcomes

Qualification

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s degree or MBA (preferred)
• Minimum 6 years of job-related experience in business transformation, innovation or operational strategy within large multinational organisations
• Business Transformation consulting (preferred) or internal Transformation advisory and structured problem-solving experience in asset-intensive and operationally complex industries
• Commercial airline experience (preferred), ideally in a function relevant to the role, such as Customer Experience, Operations, Digital \& AI
• Project management experience (highly desired), with a track record of planning and delivering projects on time, scope and budget; PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Change management experience (preferred), including stakeholder engagement, communication and adoption; Prosci, APMG or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in defining, tracking and benchmarking performance indicators, measuring success, and refining initiatives based on lessons learned
• Strong command of English, with excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at management level and influence without direct authority
• Stakeholder management experience in complex, international or culturally diverse organisations
