We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Facilitator to join our team. This is a part-time role, with potential for full-time, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the development of vital professionals, delivering engaging training both online and in classroom settings, primarily across the Dublin \& Leinster region. Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant third-level qualification, minimum Level 7 in Social Care or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the Social Care or Healthcare Sector.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Training or Adult education.
  • Proven competence in training delivery within classroom settings and across online platforms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
  • Full clean driver’s licence.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and independently.

Desirable Skills \& Certifications:

  • Train the Trainer Certification.
  • Certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
  • Certification in First Aid Response.
  • Certification in Fire Safety.
  • Certification in Manual Handling.
  • Certification in Safe Administration \& Management of Medication.

About The Role

As a Training Facilitator at SCTI, you will play a pivotal role in delivering transformative learning experiences to social care and other professionals. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will lead daily training sessions, utilising both interactive classroom environments and advanced online platforms like Zoom. Your responsibilities will extend beyond delivery to include contributing to course development, ensuring our programmes remain cutting-edge and relevant. You will actively engage with participants, assess their learning needs, provide guidance, and support their professional development, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
