Construction Trades Trainer \& Assessor — Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery

We're looking for a skilled and experienced trainer to deliver and assess Certificate III training across Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery. In this role, you'll provide high-quality training, assessment, and student support in accordance with ASQA and the Standards for RTOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess units across Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery
• Design and run engaging training sessions, both face-to-face and online
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools
• Run practical training sessions that meet WHS requirements
• Track student progress and provide ongoing academic support
• Keep training and assessment records accurate and up to date
• Take part in validation and moderation meetings
• Maintain compliance with ASQA, training package, and RTO requirements
• Stay current with industry developments and pursue ongoing professional development

What You'll Need

• A relevant trade qualification (Certificate III or higher)
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Hands-on industry experience
• Solid understanding of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
• VET sector training experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence working with both domestic and international students

Pay: $65.00 per hour
