Trainee Dispenser/pharmacy assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trainee Dispenser to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. Duties

• Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation and packaging of medication for patients.
• Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health advice.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of medication administration and pharmacy practices.
• Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in medication administration or patient care is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field.
