Tow Truck driver - Class 3

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Class 3 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, timely deliveries, and excellent driving skills. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 3 commercial vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations efficiently and on schedule
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning
• Load and unload cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for each trip
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues during transit
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage during transportation

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles, with a focus on safety and reliability
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo
• Strong driving skills with excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines
• Good physical condition to handle long hours on the road and physical demands of loading/unloading tasks
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings as per company policy

This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics services, emphasizing safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
