Massage therapy is a widely used technique for relaxation, healing, and rejuvenation. As a Thai Spa Therapist, you will apply a wide range of techniques — including pressure, massage, herbal remedies, and specialized treatments — to help guests relieve pain, restore balance, and achieve deep relaxation.
Key Responsibilities
- Massage treatments: Provide consistent professional massage and body therapies in line with spa protocols.
- Pain relief: Relieve bodily aches and muscle strain to ensure guest relaxation.
- Guest assessment: Review medical history and symptoms before treatment.
- Guest care: Handle complaints swiftly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Treatment preparation: Prepare oils, herbs, and equipment for therapies.
- Specialized therapies: Perform waxing, body wraps, exfoliation, LPG treatments, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, Moroccan baths, and hydro-baths.
- Sanitation standards: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and equipment.
- Record keeping: Document guest treatments and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaboration: Consult with other health practitioners to provide the best therapies.
- Administration support: Assist the Spa Manager with administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Body Therapist.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and guest-focused.
