They are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join their STP Tribe in Krakow. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on complex testing challenges within financial services, collaborating with developers, product owners and delivery teams to ensure system quality and reliability.
Position Overview
As a Test Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of STP systems through comprehensive testing practices. Working across multiple squads, you'll validate both functional and non-functional requirements using manual and automated testing techniques. Your work will directly impact system delivery readiness, helping to maintain the high standards required in financial services operations. This position combines technical proficiency with domain knowledge, requiring collaboration within Agile delivery teams to drive quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Participate in feature refinement sessions to ensure testability of requirements
- Define test strategies and prepare detailed test plans for features and epics
- Design and execute test cases covering functional, integration, regression and non-functional testing
- Conduct performance, scalability and reliability testing using the STP Test Framework
- Utilise ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps and Jenkins for test automation and execution
- Manage and triage defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting
- Collaborate with developers, product owners and delivery owners to ensure delivery readiness
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the STP Testing Community of Practice
Requirements
- 8-10 years of software testing experience, including manual and automated testing
- Strong experience within financial services environments
- Proficiency in designing test cases for functional, integration, regression and non-functional testing
- Hands-on experience in Agile environments, including sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming
- Proficiency with ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Skilled in defect tracking and triage using Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with STP-related technologies such as MQ, SWIFT messaging, ISO 15022/20022 and middleware validation
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines in DevOps environments
- Exposure to performance, scalability and reliability testing
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams
