North Otago Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Tennis Coach to join our growing coaching programme.
North Otago Tennis plays a key role in developing tennis throughout the North Otago region. Based in Oamaru, the successful applicant will work with schools and the club across the district, helping introduce young people to tennis while supporting the development of aspiring players and adults. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact within a vibrant regional sporting community to promote the game of Tennis.
The Role
The successful applicant will deliver:
- Tennis in Schools coaching programmes throughout North Otago (Monday–Friday).
- After-school Hot Shots coaching programmes delivered throughout North Otago.
- Junior player development and representative programmes.
- Coaching for players of all ages and abilities.
- All other tennis programmes as required.
- Actively promote the sport of tennis through out the North Otago community and area.
Qualifications \& Experience
Applicants should:
- Hold an ITF Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- Have a passion for developing young players.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be reliable, energetic, and able to work independently.
- Hold a current driver's licence.
- Registered First aid Certificate.
- Relevant coaching experience.
- Competent at working with groups and schools on court.
