As a Technology Specialist, you and your team are part of the Digital Infrastructure Portfolio within D\&T.; As a Technology Specialist, you will work in a highly autonomous role, partnering with architects, product owners, and stakeholders across multiple operating companies to assess Microsoft product changes, manage risks, and define safe implementation approaches for our collaboration platforms.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • acting as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including:

    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • OneDrive
    • Exchange Online
    • owning and manage Jira backlog items related to Microsoft 365 features, improvements, and platform changes
    • tracking Microsoft 365 roadmap updates and product changes independently
    • assessing risks, impacts, and dependencies of new features and service updates
    • deciding which changes can be safely implemented and which require mitigation or redesign
    • defining implementation approaches in collaboration with the Tribe Architect and Product Owner
    • driving collaboration governance, standardization, and secure usage of digital workplace platforms
    • supporting global stakeholders across multiple regions and operating companies.

You are a good candidate if you have:

  • Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • +5 years of work experience required in a complex international environment (Countries/Regions)
  • strong and demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange) in a multinational environment
  • proven experience in identifying, selecting, and implementing relevant new technologies and influencing the business with a formal global financial business case for its related services
  • an entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to connect with internal and external audiences including senior management
  • sense of urgency to enable \& support Operating Companies and it’s Operations with the related services
  • knowledge of cloud environments by certification or experience
  • an ability to be a valuable agile team member
  • supporting resolution of operational issues as architect
  • ability to lead the creation and implementation of solutions for end customers
  • proven experience working in a global enterprise IT or Digital Workplace environment
  • solid understanding of collaboration governance, security, and compliance concepts
  • experience assessing platform changes and managing technical risk
  • ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • strong communication skills and confidence working with diverse global stakeholders
  • excellent written and verbal English.
