Job Purpose
The Service Center Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end service workflow for retail automation products — from device intake through repair, manufacturer coordination, billing, and final delivery — while acting as the central point of contact between technical staff, customers, resellers, sales, accounts, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Staff \& Site Visit Coordination
- Coordinate technical staff activities; assign, manage, and schedule site visits.
- Liaise with customers and resellers to arrange visit timelines and requirements.
Service Intake \& Assignment
- Receive devices submitted to the service center for repair.
- Assign devices to engineers based on device type/specialization.
Repair Tracking
- Track repair status with engineers on an ongoing basis.
- Identify and schedule devices that need to be sent to the manufacturer's service center.
Manufacturer Coordination
- Track status of devices sent to the manufacturer's service center.
- Provide regular status updates to end users, resellers, and sales personnel.
Quotation \& LPO Management
- Where chargeable service is required, coordinate with engineers, end users, and the sales team to prepare and issue quotations.
- Follow up to obtain the LPO (Local Purchase Order) from the customer against the quotation.
Sales Order \& Payment Coordination
- Upon PO receipt, coordinate with the sales team to raise the sales order.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to process payment to the manufacturer's service center.
Logistics \& Delivery
- Arrange delivery of serviced items and collection of faulty items from customer sites.
- Coordinate closely with the logistics team and service engineers to ensure timely handling.
Customer Communication
- Provide customers with job card status updates against items received for service.
Inventory \& Resource Monitoring
- Monitor spare parts stock levels.
- Monitor service engineers' workload and ensure proper allocation of their engagement.
- Monitor demo item stock and ensure accuracy against system records.
- Issue demo units and track them properly against agreed timelines.
Key Skills \& Competencies
- Strong coordination and multitasking ability across technical, sales, accounts, and logistics functions.
- Good communication skills (customer, reseller, and internal stakeholder facing).
- Familiarity with service/repair workflows and ticketing or job card systems.
- Basic understanding of retail automation devices (POS, scanners, printers, etc.) an advantage.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to track multiple open cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office / ERP or service management software.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree (Technical, Business Administration, or related field).
- Prior experience in a service center, technical support coordination, or after-sales service role preferred.
- Experience in retail automation, POS, or IT hardware service environment is a plus.
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
