Position: Technical Coordinator – Glass Partitions \& Doors
Department: Projects / Operations
Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all technical and project-related activities for glass partition and door installations. The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing technical submittals, coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams, and ensuring projects are executed according to approved specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Coordination
- Review architectural and shop drawings related to glass partitions, glass doors, and associated hardware.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with designers, consultants, and clients for drawing approvals.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and consultant requirements.
- Resolve technical issues arising during fabrication and installation.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate project activities between procurement, production, and installation teams.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of works.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
- Follow up on approvals, inspections, and material deliveries.
Site Support
- Conduct site visits and surveys when required.
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors regarding installation requirements.
- Ensure site measurements are verified before fabrication.
- Assist in resolving site-related technical issues.
Documentation \& Reporting
- Maintain records of approved drawings, variations, and project correspondence.
- Track RFIs, material approvals, and consultant comments.
- Prepare project progress reports and update management regularly.
- Maintain project documentation in an organized manner.
Commercial Support
- Assist estimation and sales teams with technical clarifications.
- Review BOQs and specifications during tender and execution stages.
- Coordinate variation orders and additional work documentation.
Qualifications \& Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in glass partitions, glass doors, aluminium, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of frameless glass systems, office partitions, sliding doors, and hardware.
- Experience in reading technical drawings and project specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of project documentation and submittal procedures.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per hour
