Technical Architect & Developer
Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional ready to own the solution design of medium-complexity Salesforce implementations or lead individual streams on larger projects. You will translate business requirements into scalable, well-documented designs on the Salesforce platform, work alongside senior architects on larger programs, and act as the technical reference point for a delivery team of developers and consultants.

What you will do

  • Own application and data model design for assigned workstreams or mid-sized projects, from requirements through to build support and go-live
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs, and make and document declarative vs. code decisions with clear rationale
  • Produce and maintain design artefacts: data models, integration and interface designs, technical specifications, design decision logs, functional and technical design documentation
  • Guide developers and consultants during build, review configuration and code against the agreed design, and support estimation
  • Design within platform governor limits, security model, and licensing constraints, and flag risks early
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities — solution outlines, effort estimates, and RFP input — under the guidance of senior architects
  • Work directly with client business and IT stakeholders in design workshops and design authority reviews
  • Estimate implementation effort (full lifecycle – design, build, test, deploy)
  • Balance architecture and technical leadership responsibilities with hands-on development support when needed

What you bring

  • Approximately 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, of which around 2–3 years in an architecture or lead design capacity
  • Strong practical knowledge of multiple Salesforce clouds (for example Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, sharing and security model, declarative automation (Flow), and where Apex/LWC are the right choice
  • Working knowledge of integration patterns and Salesforce APIs — ability to design an integration and challenge a proposal
  • Experience contributing to full implementation lifecycles, ideally in a consulting or multi-project environment
  • Experience with solutioning Epics and Features
  • Experience in estimating effort
  • Functional and Technical Design for standard as well as custom Salesforce implementation projects, including modern declarative and programmatic automations (APEX, LWC, Flows, Prompt Builder, Agent Builder etc)
  • Ability to present and defend a design to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English
  • Agentforce and AI capabilities knowledge (experience implementing Agentforce or other AI solutions is an advantage)
  • Experience working in Agile projects
  • Fluency in English
  • Salesforce certifications: at least one of the following: Platform App Builder, Agentforce Specialist or Administrator

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Agentforce, Data Cloud
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling and release management practices (DevOps Center, CI/CD experience)
  • Consultant-level certification (Data360 Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant etc); Application Architect track certifications (Data Architect, Sharing \& Visibility) are an advantage
