Teacher (Part-time)

Kind Hearts Learning Center is a new childcare center located in Fall River, MA. We are looking for a part time (roughly 10-29 hrs per week) Teacher Float for our FALL RIVER LOCATION, to join our team! Teachers must be a MA EEC certified teacher to qualify.

Must be available to work a flexible working schedule between the hours of 7am-4:30pm. Shifts would range from 4-8 hrs a day (more hrs if needed).

We are looking for a teacher float to help cover breaks, teacher absences, etc.

Responsibilities of these positions include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring safety and physical well-being of children.
• Ensuring adherence to all requirements of MA EEC regulations.
• Observing and documenting daily classroom observation logs to aid in compiling monthly classroom room meeting agendas
• Completing 20 hour of continuing education annually
• Creating a positive rapport with all parents through daily interactions
• Emailing, or using our communication app, notifications to parents and maintaining regular correspondence
• Addressing and documenting any concerns or incidents regarding children, parents, and/or staff
• Opening center or closing center at day's end.
• Plan and conduct daily program that meets each child's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs based on our curriculum philosophy
• Any duties assigned to you by the Director or owners

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
