Systems Architect

Job Overview

We are looking for a Systems Architect to support technology consulting, IT services, and outsourcing projects for enterprise clients in Singapore. The role will be responsible for analysing business and technical requirements, designing scalable system architectures, and supporting the integration of applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise technologies. You will work closely with consultants, engineers, developers, project teams, and client stakeholders to deliver practical and reliable technology solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business, application, infrastructure, and technical requirements for client projects.
• Design scalable and maintainable system architectures based on business objectives and technical requirements.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, solution designs, integration documents, and implementation guidelines.
• Evaluate existing IT environments and recommend improvements to system architecture, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design integrations between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, infrastructure, and third-party systems.
• Work with engineering and development teams to ensure proposed architecture can be implemented effectively.
• Assess technology platforms, frameworks, infrastructure components, and technical solutions for different client requirements.
• Support cloud, on-premise, hybrid, application, infrastructure, and enterprise system architecture initiatives.
• Consider security, data protection, availability, scalability, performance, and operational requirements during architecture design.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and integration issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Participate in technical workshops, solution discussions, requirement gathering, and architecture reviews with clients.
• Provide technical guidance to developers, engineers, system administrators, and project teams throughout implementation.
• Review technical deliverables and ensure solutions comply with agreed architecture standards and project requirements.
• Support system testing, deployment, migration, integration, and post-implementation activities when required.
• Prepare technical presentations and communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain architecture documentation and contribute to reusable technical standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Keep up to date with cloud technologies, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, integration technologies, and emerging IT solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in systems architecture, solution architecture, infrastructure architecture, software engineering, systems integration, or IT consulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, application architecture, infrastructure, databases, APIs, networking, and system integration.
• Experience designing solutions across on-premise, cloud, or hybrid technology environments.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, databases, middleware, integration platforms, authentication, and enterprise application interfaces.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, access management, data protection, system availability, and technology risk considerations.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and technical communication skills.
• Experience working with enterprise clients, technology consultants, vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in IT consulting, managed services, outsourcing, or system integration environments will be advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as AWS, Azure, TOGAF, or other relevant architecture certifications will be an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Working Arrangement

• Full-time position based in Singapore.
• Work within an IT services, technology consulting, recruitment, and outsourcing environment.
• Support technology projects and managed IT services for corporate and enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with solution consultants, software engineers, infrastructure specialists, project managers, developers, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Participate in client workshops, architecture reviews, technical planning, implementation, and system integration activities.
• Primarily office-based with occasional client-site visits depending on project requirements.
• Exposure to different industries, technology environments, enterprise systems, and IT transformation projects.

Pay: $9,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
