The Opportunity
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our IT systems and data processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, data, and business operations—ensuring reliability while supporting procurement and sales workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IT systems, including servers and business applications
- Manage core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls
- Monitor system performance, backups, and overall reliability
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding, permissions, and system access
- Use Excel extensively for data management, reporting, and process improvements
- Support data handling, validation, and accuracy across systems
- Work closely with procurement and sales teams to streamline workflows and system usage
- Assist in maintaining product, pricing, and operational data within business systems
- Troubleshoot system, application, and basic network issues
- Maintain documentation, procedures, and data standards
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support to internal users
Skills \& Experience
- Relevant experience in Systems Administration, IT Support, or similar role is appreciated
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365)
- Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, formulas, reporting)
- Experience with data handling and system-based reporting
- Understanding of business processes related to procurement and sales operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Exposure to system integrations or automation
- Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL)
- Experience in wholesale, logistics, or supply chain environments
