We are seeking multiple skilled Electrical Technicians to join our on-site maintenance team at Perth Airport, working on large-scale automated and mechanical systems that are critical to airport operations.

About the Role

You will be part of a dedicated maintenance team responsible for keeping complex baggage handling and automated systems operating safely and reliably in a live operational environment. The teams work in rotating shifts, supporting a 24/7 operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work hands-on with advanced automated machinery and production systems.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain components to keep operations smooth.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to implement innovative automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while driving efficiency and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade-qualified Electrician (Certificate III or equivalent).
  • Experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Exposure to conveyors, hydraulics, or automated systems (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work calmly in a live operational environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
