We are looking for a Sustainability Impact Manager, Climate and Water to join our team in İstanbul.

This is an individual contributor executive role. The position does not have any direct people management responsibility.

Role focuses on:* Being the subject matter expert and lead within Climate, Energy and Water Focus area agenda for Türkiye OU.Collaborating with SC engineering and procurement teams to develop optimized plans to meet 2030, OU, region and global climate and water targets. * Collaborate and support Sustainability Strategy and Engagement Manager to develop the annual operating plans and drive engagement across support functions to deliver the plan in line with glidepath requirements. * Track implementation and be able to course correct and adapt the plans to ensure timely deliver of targets * Partnering with GP Category groups on subject matter expertise for Suppliers \& 3PM energy transition

Responsibilities: * Develop and optimise the glidepath for Türkiye Climate Scope I/ II Plant (+ own fleet) Own emissions goal delivery for acceptance by leadership teams. Ensure best solutions are included and all available knowledge is leveraged by connecting closely with both internal and external resources. Wire glidepath efforts and plans with other OU’s or BU’s for comparison. * Deliver affordable and practicable solutions for plant GHG emissions and water reduction, coordinating with the procurement and engineering teams to develop and partner to execute the plans. * Deliver affordable solutions for water use reduction, introduction of ‘net zero’ water use technologies as necessary, focus on 100% water replenishment in HWR areas. * Coordinate cross functional efforts (PPGA, SC, GP primarily) to deliver enabling steps for glidepath delivery, in particular climate, water advocacy and infrastructure * Develop and manage budget requirements specific to areas of ownership to facilitate acceleration of glidepath deployment * Be the guardian of all regulatory and licensing of all the Climate and water related investments and execution of these. * Support pep+ engagement agenda both internally/externally acting as subject matter expert in own operations decarbonisation and water use reduction. * Build capability across Operating Unit and support function partners * Monitor and keep business informed on external developments and trends in relation to decarbonisation and water use efficiency. * Lead cross functional pilot projects as required across capital investment and sourcing solutions to support delivery of the plan. * Partner with GP to establish mutually beneficial partnerships across supplier base * Global reporting – validate all data sources for periodic scope 1 \& 2 global reporting and raise issues directly with region for reconciliation * Establish and maintain appropriate governance forums across agenda to ensure necessary project delivery required to achieve targets. * Act as gate keeper for best practice outputs. Qualifications: * Min. 8-10 years of work experience; sustainability, engineering, government affairs, supply chain experience preferred. * Preferably degree from Engineering (Environment, Machinery, Industrial, Food, Chemistry, etc), Economics, Management, Political Science, Public Management * This position requires regular travel. * Understanding of global and local regulatory issues and general knowledge of food and beverage sector * Demonstrated skills in managing Projects and people. * Strong understanding of advanced proficiency business English both oral and written, including technical lexicon. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Computer skills: Ms Windows, Ms Office, other suitable software and AI use. * Strong change management skills, ability to succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation. * Creative and innovative thinker with an ability to translate complex ideas and metrics into simple, actionable recommendations * Excellence in managing multiple stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships across a broad range of people and groups.Independent worker who can own and run with an agenda and who can advise Senior managers/leaders on approach
