Position Summary:

The Sustainability Engineer is responsible for driving the implementation of the sustainability strategy across construction projects. The role ensures environmentally responsible and resource-efficient construction while translating sustainability targets into practical site measures. Also, it acts as a key link between the sustainability strategy (MC-level) and its effective implementation across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement sustainability measures aligned with the sustainability strategy and actively drive change management on site.

Translate sustainability targets into practical and actionable measures.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and project requirements.

Coordinate with regulatory authorities for approvals and inspections.

Ensure adherence to project environmental management plans (EMP).

Monitor resource use (fuel, energy, water, materials) and environmental impact.

Track carbon emissions and support implementation of reduction measures.

Monitor environmental aspects such as air quality, noise, dust, and water discharge.

Support waste reduction and recycling measures.

Conduct environmental inspections and audits.

Support sustainability KPI tracking and data collection.

Prepare sustainability and environmental reports.

Train site teams on environmental and sustainability practices.

Promote sustainable construction methods across all project types.

Support sustainability initiatives, pilot projects, and continuous improvement.
