Job Summary
SS Juarez Middle East is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee logistics, inventory control, vendor coordination, and shipment operations across the Middle East region. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will streamline end-to-end supply chain processes, manage regional customs documentation, track freight movements, and optimize inventory turn rates to support growing business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Freight Management: Coordinate sea, air, and land freight movements across regional and international distribution networks, tracking shipments from point of origin to final delivery.
- Customs & Trade Compliance: Prepare and verify import/export documentation, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and bill of lading (BOL) filings to ensure compliance with UAE customs and GCC trade regulations.
- Inventory Control & Order Management: Monitor stock levels, reconcile physical inventory with warehouse management systems (WMS), and manage purchase order (PO) workflows to prevent stockouts and excess holding costs.
- Vendor & Carrier Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, shipping lines, and local suppliers to negotiate competitive freight rates and enforce key SLA benchmarks.
- Cost & Performance Tracking: Track lead times, shipping costs, inventory variances, and delivery timelines—generating monthly operational KPI reports for executive leadership.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with procurement, sales, and finance teams to reconcile invoice discrepancies and ensure accurate cost allocation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics, or freight coordination within the UAE or GCC region.
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency in ERP and inventory management platforms (SAP, Dynamics 365, or Oracle) alongside advanced skills in MS Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of GCC customs clearance procedures, IncoTerms (2020), import/export regulations, and free-zone logistics operations.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and time-management capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (Arabic or Spanish is an added advantage).
