Responsibilities
- Substitute for absent teachers on a short term basis
- Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
- Supervise students throughout the school day
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
- Communicate any important information or incidents to school administration
The ideal candidate
- Relevant university degree in Education or teaching qualification
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and grade levels
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Very good English skills are essential, German skills are an advantage
- Availability on minimum three days per week
- Valid and unrestricted work permit for Germany, and based within a reasonable commuting distance of the school
