Substitute Teacher

Starting: Anytime Employment Type: Part-time Contract Type: Mini-job or freelance basis Responsibilities

• Substitute for absent teachers on a short term basis
• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
• Supervise students throughout the school day
• Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
• Communicate any important information or incidents to school administration

The ideal candidate

• Relevant university degree in Education or teaching qualification
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and grade levels
• Reliable, professional, and punctual
• Very good English skills are essential, German skills are an advantage
• Availability on minimum three days per week
• Valid and unrestricted work permit for Germany, and based within a reasonable commuting distance of the school
