As a Strategic Business Partner based in our Auckland or Wellington office, your role will include translating enterprise strategy into integrated people, workforce and capability outcomes. Operating at the portfolio level, the Strategic Business Partner will anticipate and surface implications for people and capability of changes, initiatives and decisions within the portfolios.
These roles will collaborate with executive and senior leaders to design forward looking, high-impact people strategies. Delivering proactive advice on organisational structures, investment choices, and change direction before decisions are finalised are key components of the SBP role.
The role will partner with executives and leadership teams to elevate performance, refine leadership impact, and drive succession planning. Acting as a trusted sounding board, the role will provide candid, strategic and commercially grounded guidance on talent, organisational structure, and workplace culture to ensure sustainable high performance. Further, the role will identify talent across the portfolios and surface succession risks early to protect leadership continuity.
SBPs must work closely with senior People \& Assurance leaders - including the Manager People Services, Manager Culture \& Capability, and Manager People Operations \& Intelligence, to deliver integrated, aligned and end-to-end people outcomes across the People and Assurance function.
