The Storeperson will play a key role accurately picking, packing, sending and generally working with the team to ensure a clean, tidy and efficient warehouse.

This includes the loading and unloading heavy vehicles along with periodic and annual stocktaking activities.

You will be working in and contribute to the highly positive work culture that is already in place.

On a typical day you will

• General Warehousing duties including picking and packing, receiving and dispatching, unloading and loading trucks
• Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities with the Operations Coordinator
• Ensure daily inbound and outbound related activities are completed within agreed timeframe
• Take initiative to identify growth opportunities and innovative new ways of doing business
• Ensure systems are used and operator is trained to achieve the highest standards of safety and operational excellence
• Contribute to improvement of systems, processes and standards, and to sustainability in safety and environmental performance
• Maximise profitability through leading the day-to-day performance of an end-to-end work or operational process
• Read customer situations accurately, anticipate their business needs and identify opportunities to significantly enhance the breadth and quality of the service experience

What You Will Need to be Successful

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar warehouse environment
• Knowledge of safe warehouse practices
• Current Forklift license is required and have your own car (preferred)
• General Warehousing duties including picking and packing, receiving and dispatching, unloading and loading trucks,
• Has exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated a positive "CAN DO" attitude
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised
• Possess strong communication skills including good listening skills
• Is physically fit and able to work under pressure
