Store Manager

Brar Enterprises Limited operates a combined retail dairy and takeaway food business in Tauranga and requires a Store Manager to oversee daily operations. The role is essential to manage staff, control inventory, maintain service standards, and ensure efficient operation across both retail and takeaway sections of the business. Position Title: Store Manager

Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand

Pay Rate: $30 – $36 per hour

Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

• Qualification at level 5 or higher OR at least 2 years’ experience in

retail or any service industry at any level.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine stock levels, product range, and service standards for the dairy and takeaway business.
• Implement purchasing, pricing, and promotional policies as directed by business requirements.
• Promote and advertise products and services through in‑store initiatives and local marketing.
• Oversee sales activities and assist customers with product enquiries and service needs.
• Maintain records of stock levels, purchases, and financial transactions.
• Monitor store sales performance and contribute to budgeting and cost control.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage staff across both retail and takeaway operations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health \& safety and food safety regulations.
• Maintain store presentation, merchandising, and operational standards.
• Liaise with business owners regarding performance, staffing, and improvement strategies.
