PEOPLE
- Liaise with the Kitchen Team to ensure accurate and clean equipment is ready for service.
- Establishes and maintains effective employee and inter-departmental working relationships
- To participate in various hotel activities like sports, staff party events, CSR events, to promote the reputation of the hotel.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
- To work along with the team according to the standard and policy, to bring about the guest experience.
- Actively participate in all training activities.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
- Daily cleaning of all dishes and technical equipment
- Daily cleaning of all kitchen floors, cupboards and machines
- Daily control of required stock of cleaning supplies for stewarding department and kitchen
- Daily emptying the waste, responsible for waste separation according to environmentally standards
- Refilling cupboards with dishes
- Daily control of required dish towels and refilling stock through housekeeping department
- Daily cleaning of all tile areas in kitchen area as well as public areas like lobby or bar and offices
- Weekly cleaning of the delivery area, all storage rooms, hotel surroundings and waste room
- Daily checking all empties
- Responsibility for covering staff and organizing their duties in cooperation with the Guest Service Assistant Food & Beverage or the Guest Service Assistant Restaurant
- Orientation for new trainees or other staff covering duties
- Daily hovering lobby and restaurant area.
- Hovering banqueting rooms after functions or upon request through Guest Service Manager Food & Beverage or Guest Service Assistant Restaurant
- Demonstrating a ‘Service’ attitude
- Recycle where-ever possible and enforce cost saving measures where appropriate
- Is familiar with Company Health and Safety Policies and ensures operational areas promote and comply with them
- Take responsibility to rectify hazardous situations, reporting major areas of concern to General Manager or delegate
- Is familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and actively enforces these in area of responsibility
- Ensure security incidents in the operational area are reviewed and corrective measures implemented to prevent recurring incidents
- Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of Conduct
- Is familiar with the company values and model desired behaviors
- Performs tasks as directed by the responsible Guest Service Assistant Food & Beverage in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
