Job Summary

Sajid Habib Building Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Steel Foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication and erection, with the ability to supervise site activities, coordinate with engineers, and ensure that all steel works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all structural steel works on the construction site.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and the project management team.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, alignment, welding, bolting, and erection of steel structures.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently to achieve daily targets.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Inspect completed work to maintain high quality standards.
• Report daily progress, site issues, and material requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Coordinate with procurement for steel materials, consumables, and equipment.
• Maintain discipline and productivity among the workforce.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Steel Foreman in the UAE or GCC construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection works.
• Ability to read and understand structural and fabrication drawings.
• Experience managing steel fabricators, welders, riggers, and erection teams.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Salary: AED 2,500 per month
• Accommodation Allowance: AED 500 per month
