This is a great opportunity to build and lead a new pharmacy within an innovative healthcare company. Our goal at CareDx Pharmacy (a subsidiary of CareDx, Inc.) is to provide the best pharmaceutical care in the country, and we are looking for a Pharmacist-in-Charge / Pharmacy Manager to launch and lead our new location in Atlanta, GA. This leader will own licensure, compliance, operations, staffing, and quality for the site, building a scalable, patient-centered pharmacy that supports our mission.
Responsibilities
Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge of record and maintain all pharmacy permits, licenses, registrations, and controlled substance records
Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal laws and guidelines, including Georgia Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, Fraud, Waste and Abuse (Medicare), and DEA procedures
Lead site startup, including licensure and permitting, facility and equipment setup, pharmacy system implementation, wholesaler and inventory setup, and accreditation readiness (ACHC/URAC)
Develop and maintain workflows, policies, and procedures; lead inspections, audits, and survey readiness
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff
Oversee all aspects of the workflow process, including receiving and interpreting prescriptions, screening for interactions, verification, dispensing, shipping, phone support, and point-of-sale transactions
Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter therapies, administer immunizations, and support transplant-focused patient care
Maintain procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and dispensing/disposal of hazardous drugs; investigate errors and implement corrective actions
Manage inventory, vendor relationships, budget, and accurate, timely billing and reimbursement
Monitor key performance indicators and drive process improvement and growth in partnership with CareDx leadership
Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, and internal teams

Education/Experience/Licensing/Skills
PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
Active Georgia pharmacist license with no disciplinary action and eligibility to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge
5+ years of pharmacy experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
Specialty or transplant pharmacy experience strongly preferred
Experience with a pharmacy startup or expansion and prior Pharmacist-in-Charge experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in PioneerRx preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong desire to grow clinical and operational knowledge

Hours
Pharmacy is open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Schedule is 40 hours per week; additional flexibility required during site startup
