Your Role:

Job Summary

Help design and develop the software that controls chemical and specialty-gas delivery equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. In this senior individual-contributor role, you will develop PLC and HMI software, contribute to system design, and work with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to deliver safe, reliable equipment. Strong PLC software development experience is central to the role. You do not need experience with every PLC brand listed; hands-on experience with one or more platforms is welcome. Familiarity with C/C++ or other PC-based programming languages is also helpful. You will help improve engineering standards and guide technical decisions across projects.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Software Development

• Develop and maintain PLC software.
• Design, program, test, and validate PLC logic for semiconductor gas and chemical delivery systems.
• Work with systems using Omron, Siemens, and LS PLCs.

PLC 소프트웨어 개발

HMI \& System Integration

• Configure and maintain HMI systems such as Pro-face, MXon, and M2I.
• Set up alarms, diagnostics, status monitoring, and data logging.

System Engineering

• Understand customer and product needs, then turn them into software and control-system designs.
• Define how the software and hardware work together and how the system is controlled.
• Take part in design reviews and risk assessments.

Troubleshooting \& RCA

• Investigate issues reported from the field and put corrective actions in place.
• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) to identify why issues occurred.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance.

Manufacturing \& Customer Support

• Support manufacturing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), commissioning, and startup.
• Help resolve technical issues raised by customers.
• Prepare manufacturing materials and technical documentation.

• Work with mechanical, electrical, quality, project management, and manufacturing teams.
• Partner with global engineering teams to standardize platforms and improve products.

Take part in engineering change requests and orders (ECR/ECO).

부서 간 협업

• 기계, 전기, 품질, 프로젝트 관리 및 제조 팀과 협업합니다.
• 글로벌 엔지니어링 팀과 협력해 플랫폼을 표준화하고 제품을 개선합니다.
• 엔지니어링 변경 요청 및 승인(ECR/ECO) 절차에 참여합니다.

Continuous Improvement

• Improve software standards and organize code into reusable modules.
• Help plan technologies for future control systems.
• Guide other engineers and share practical engineering knowledge.

Who you are:

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation, software, or computer engineering, computer science, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

At least 5 years of hands-on PLC software development experience.

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following PLC platforms:

Omron, Siemens, or LS PLCs

Experience developing HMIs using Pro-face, MXon, M2I, or a similar system.

Basic familiarity with one or more industrial communication protocols, such as:

Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, or EtherCAT

Experience troubleshooting and debugging industrial automation systems.
