Sr SMT Process Engineer

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Lugoj,Timis location on an on-site working schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ergonomics of our production processes, contributing to the overall success and safety of our operations.

Responsible for the development, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement of SMT reflow soldering processes to ensure consistent product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Own SMT reflow soldering process across production lines.
• Develop and maintain reflow profiles based on PCB and component requirements.
• Monitor and control critical process parameters
• Support NPI and process validation activities.
• Analyze defects and lead corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain documentation and support audits.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years SMT experience with focus on reflow process or a related field (laser marking, inspection, placement, X-Ray).
• Strong understanding of soldering processes.
• Experience in defining technical specifications and evaluating production processes. Proficiency in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
