Sr Risk Manager, RISC (Program)
Job Description

DESCRIPTION

The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team's charter is to protect Amazon customers from products that are illegal, illegally marketed, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited by Amazon policies.

In this role you will be working directly with Testing, Inspection, and Certification providers (TICs) to scale product compliance across multiple categories and policies. This will include visiting TICs, developing test plans for product testing, and engaging in business development to expand the TIC network. This role will also be engaged in improving selling partner experience by coordinating with business teams and addressing selling partner pain points.

The candidate must be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, identifying and facing big challenges, and adjusting to sudden and frequent change. Think of this role as a non-technical “solution architect” where you will be given the autonomy to develop a strategy and build effective mechanisms to scale policy compliance.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with TICs
  • Develop and optimize test plans across multiple product categories
  • Identify and onboard new TIC partners to expand network capabilities
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives with existing TIC partners
  • Create and maintain documentation for TIC processes and procedures
  • Maintain regular communication channels with TIC partners for day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate with internal business teams to streamline selling partner experience
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and selling partner challenges
  • Develop and track key performance metrics
  • Prepare and present progress reports to leadership
