Sr. Intelligent Automation Engineer (Node JS)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Automation Anywhere A360, Playwright, and enterprise automation technologies to join a large-scale digital transformation initiative.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade automation solutions across multiple business functions. This role requires a strong software engineering mindset with expertise in process automation, integration technologies, automation frameworks, operational excellence, and enterprise governance standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing secure, scalable, resilient, and audit-ready automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, compliance, service quality, and customer experience.

Requirements

Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Solution Development* Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade automation solutions using Automation Anywhere A360. * Develop unattended, attended, and semi-attended bots for business-critical processes. * Build browser-based automation solutions using Playwright. * Develop reusable automation frameworks, libraries, accelerators, and reusable components. * Design automation workflows interacting with: * + Desktop applications + Web applications + APIs + Databases + Enterprise platforms * Perform process analysis and translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.

Solution Architecture \& Engineering* Participate in automation solution architecture discussions and technical design reviews. * Design scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable automation solutions. * Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and automation best practices. * Prepare technical documentation including: * + Solution design documents + Deployment guides + Support documentation + Operational runbooks * Collaborate closely with: * + Software engineering teams + Business analysts + Infrastructure teams + Cybersecurity teams + Business stakeholders

Operational Excellence* Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot automation-related issues. * Optimize automation performance and reliability. * Support production deployments and hypercare activities. * Monitor automation health and proactively identify improvement opportunities. * Maintain high service availability and operational stability.

Preferred Qualifications* Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional Certification. * Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech organizations. * Exposure to regulated enterprise environments. * Experience working within an Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE). * Experience with OCR technologies and document processing solutions. * Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and workflow platforms.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Automation Anywhere A360, Playwright, and Node.js, with experience delivering secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade automation solutions in large organizations. Candidates with banking, fintech, or regulated industry experience will be highly preferred.
