SR. FOREMAN (MECH)

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Manage, supervise, and control contract execution for preventive and corrective maintenances activities of mechanical and utility system / equipment for assigned assets and facilities to ensure high availability and reliability of the utility systems, piping, WWTP and infrastructures at RLC. Enforce implementation of QATARENERGY-Corporate Design and Construction regulations, policies and standards.

Required Experience and Skills: * Minimum of 5-7 years of total mechanical trade experience preferably in Facilities \& Utilities in Oil \& Gas or Petrochemical process industries. * Working knowledge of discipline activities (methods, materials, practices and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of associated facilities/equipment). * Experience in execution of maintenance schedules, and support for budgeting and estimating. * Possession of a valid driver’s license. * Good PC knowledge of MS Office, maintenance software and SAP Maintenance skills * Good supervisory, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. * Ability to assign and supervise workers. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, employees and contractor staff. * Good oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.

Educational Qualifications:

Mechanical engineering diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized university or institution.
