About This Role

Hyland is looking for a driven and experienced Specialty Sales Executive to sell our Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) solutions and services to new and existing customers across all industry verticals in Germany. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, partner closely with account managers and solution engineers, and serve as a trusted expert and thought leader for your assigned product portfolio. Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan; build a strategy to continuously grow pipeline through partners, user groups, and tradeshows; develop and communicate accurate sales forecasting on a real-time basis leveraging account management tools.
  • Partner with account managers to identify new opportunities for assigned product/solution within current customers and prospects; evaluate new lead prospects generated by sales associates and qualify as genuine sales opportunities.
  • Leverage knowledge and expertise to educate potential customers on the benefits of company solutions; serve as a thought leader and collaborate with the marketing department to provide input to the development of sales collateral for assigned product/solution.
  • Support sales solution engineers in the development and presentation of software demonstrations to potential customers; provide expertise in the discovery stages and support the RFP process with account managers.
  • Actively own opportunities in the company's CRM and work appropriately with the deal desk team to drive opportunities to close; record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, significant conversations, customer visits, or sales calls.
  • Ensure effective transition of new prospects/end-users from the pre-sale process to implementation hand-off to account managers; provide guidance and support to other sales team members.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; significant experience as an Account Manager or Executive in a complex environment; deep knowledge and expertise in sales or relevant industry or technology solution.
  • Proven year-over-year sales generation success; proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; excellent ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others.
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills; excellent at gaining consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels; excellent collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas.
  • Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking; self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently to completion. Up to 50% travel time required.

What We'd Like to See (Preferred Skills)

  • Experience selling enterprise software solutions in the German or broader DACH market with a strong understanding of regional business culture and buying dynamics.
  • Familiarity with Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) solutions or related enterprise content management and intelligent automation platforms.
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to executive-level stakeholders in both languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust partner ecosystem, including resellers, system integrators, and technology alliances.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, solution engineering, and services teams to drive end-to-end sales cycles.
