Software Engineer - Python

Full time Bachelor Cluj-Napoca As a software engineer, you develop and maintain state-of the art application software for challenging high-tech projects.

This role is focused on Python development within the Diagnostics team, where you’ll collect, process, and visualize machine data. You’ll work day-to-day with Python, C++, Linux, Git and CI/CD pipelines, building applications that help monitor machine performance, support customer service teams and continuously improve the machine software platform. • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components using Python and/or C++.
• Translate system and business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in software architecture and design discussions.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Support software integration, qualification, and release activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, customer service, and integration domains.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.

This is what you bring to the table

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python software development.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to understand and work within complex technical systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
