Key Responsibilities

4-5 Strong Experience in Abinitio Developer

Work Location is Kuala Lumpur

Have to relocate 100%

9000-9500 RM – 10000 RM

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, Co >Operating System, EME)

Develop and optimize complex data transformation logic and parallel processing graphs

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources (RDBMS, flat files, APIs,

etc.)

Conduct performance tuning and job optimization for large-scale data processing

Work closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and QA teams

Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes are implemented

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution

Support deployment and migration across environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD)

Document technical design and ETL specifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

3–8+ years of experience in Ab Initio development

Strong hands-on experience in:

o Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment)

o Co >Operating System

o Enterprise Meta >Environment (EME)

o UNIX / Linux scripting

o SQL \& PL/SQL

Experience working with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or other RDBMS

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake, SCD, etc.)

Experience in performance tuning and job scheduling

Preferred Skills Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain

Exposure to Data Governance \& Data Quality frameworks

Knowledge of Control-M or other scheduling tools

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) – added advantage

Agile/Scrum project exposure
