Social Media Specialist
Job Description

We are hiring an energetic, always-on Social Media Specialist to run the daily heartbeat of Dieture’s social presence. Working in close coordination with the Content Strategist — who owns strategy, briefs, and the content calendar — you own publishing, Stories, community, and the real-time layer: everything that keeps our channels alive, fun, responsive, and trusted every single day. The Content Strategist decides what we say. You make sure it goes out perfectly, on time, everywhere — and you fill the space between planned posts with real moments: the kitchen at dawn, the team’s culture, the trends of the week, and instant replies to every person who talks to us.

Key Responsibilities

1. Publishing \& Channel Operations

  • Publish and schedule all organic content across every channel — Instagram (all three accounts), TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Eurostaffs — exactly per the content calendar owned by the Content Strategist.
  • Ensure every post meets platform spec before it goes live: aspect ratio, cover frame, caption formatting (Arabic leads, English beneath on the brand account), tags, and pillar-tagged scheduling records.
  • Coordinate publishing with the CRM Manager on launch days (menu drops, events, offers) so Stories, broadcasts, and feed posts land in the right order.
  • Maintain the asset and UGC libraries; keep scheduling sheets accurate and up to date at all times.

2. Stories — the Daily Presence Layer

  • Keep every channel highly active with Stories: 3–7 Stories daily on the main account.
  • Mirror Stories content natively on Snapchat.
  • Treat Stories as the first channel for every announcement — new menus, events, offers — before email or feed.
  • Run engagement mechanics inside Stories: polls, questions, countdowns, and quick community research.

3. Kitchen, BTS \& People Coverage

  • Own the behind-the-scenes account and its daily capture rhythm: be inside the kitchen and around the team, filming 10–20 authentic moments per week on mobile.
  • Keep BTS raw by design: phone camera, light edits, no heavy polish — if it looks produced, it belongs on the main account, not BTS.
  • Capture same-day Stories at all events and activations, alongside the videography team’s planned coverage.

4. Trending, Fun \& Engaging Content

  • Spot and act on trends fast — trending audio, formats, and local Qatar/GCC moments — and turn them into brand-safe content the same week, coordinated with the Content Strategist for message fit.
  • Make the pages genuinely fun: personality-led captions, interactive formats, playful Stories, and community moments.
  • Propose reactive content ideas weekly to the Content Strategist and execute approved ones quickly.

5. Mobile Shooting \& Quick Edits (Not a Production Role)

  • Important: this is NOT a professional videography role. Dieture has a dedicated in-house production team (videographers and editors) for all planned, polished content — commercials, menu shoots, and event coverage belong to them.
  • Your lane is quick, phone-shot, social-native short-form: live moments, BTS, people, product, and process — captured as they happen and made social-friendly.
  • You have a natural eye for a good moment and a clean frame on mobile — no camera rigs, no lighting setups, no cinema-level skills expected.
  • Produce quick edits in CapCut or equivalent: trimming, captions, trending audio, Stories formatting — same-day for reactive content, without waiting on the editing team.
  • Hand anything heavier to the in-house Editor per the production pipeline — knowing the difference between the two lanes is part of the job.

6. Community Management \& Reputation

  • Respond to ALL messages and comments across every digital channel — Instagram (all accounts), TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Eurostaffs — promptly, warmly, and on-brand, in Arabic or English as the customer writes.
  • Monitor tags and mentions daily; repost every customer UGC piece that meets the quality bar to Stories the same day.
  • Track community sentiment and flag recurring questions or complaints to the Content Strategist and Director of Marketing as content and CX inputs.

7. Reporting

  • Report weekly on channel activity, Stories performance, engagement, response times, community sentiment, and top-performing content — feeding learnings back into the calendar with the Content Strategist.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 2–4+ years managing social media channels for a consumer brand, with hands-on daily publishing and community management.
  • A natural aesthetic eye for phone-shot content — framing, light, and timing; no professional camera or production-level experience required (the in-house team handles that).
  • Fast, confident editing in CapCut, Reels editor, or equivalent — quick cuts, captions, trending audio, Stories formats.
  • Bilingual Arabic/English strongly preferred — able to respond to community messages naturally in both; Khaleeji-dialect comfort is a major advantage.
  • Deep fluency in Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat culture — trends, audio, formats, and what makes content fun rather than corporate.
  • Energetic, social, and comfortable on the ground — in the kitchen, with the team, at events — not a deskonly operator.
  • Organised and reliable: scheduling discipline, response-time discipline, and zero missed publishing slots.
  • Based in Doha; available for early-morning kitchen coverage, events, and occasional weekend activations.

Preferred

  • F\&B, hospitality, or lifestyle brand experience in Qatar or the GCC.
  • Experience running a BTS or founder-adjacent account where authenticity was the format.
  • Basic familiarity with community/CS escalation workflows and social listening.
  • Photography or visual-content background.
